A processing facility must have raw material acceptance, preliminary storage, washing, processing and evaluation areas, packaging zone and cold storage rooms.
Working personnel must wear protective work clothing such as aprons, caps, gloves and boots, depending on the unit they are employed. These clothes should be kept clean. While working, the worker should pay attention to personal hygiene, nails should be cut short, hands should be kept always clean, there should be no open wounds, jewelry etc. should not be worn while working. Employees who come into contact with the product at the facility must have a health report from an official institution indicating that they can work in a workplace that processes and evaluates seafood.
